From the moment I discovered these hens that lay a beautiful rainbow of eggs, I can't help but wonder: which came first, the egg or the Easter Egger?

A family farm where beautiful hens enjoy their life to the fullest. Located in Richmond USA, this farm is dedicated to producing the best compost you can imagine, worm farming, and the collection and processing of vegetable and fruit waste.

 

Chickens fit in the process naturally:

- they help produce compost by aerating it

- they cut the grass

- they keep the insect population in check

- they fertilize the gardens

- they keep the undergrowth trim

- they provide all-day fun entertainment

- they lay luxurious eggs

 

No one is forcing them to be anything but who they are, nor are they selling them; this is where they are at home. Here I would probably be a hen too.
